Excuse me while I hide under the table.
My friend Amber just sent an email referencing web sites in the 90s. This made me take a small work detour into Way Back Machine. I was like a skipping stone back then; I won’t even tell you my numerous URLs, and most of them are static redirects to new domains (mostly to avoid pop-ups) anyway. I am just embarassed at how silly I was at certain points in my life. But this was interesting… there is a section called “school” in one of my sites from 2003. Here is a list of psych stuff I thought about a lot at the time:
- stereotype threat
- pluralistic ignorance
- fundamental attribution error
- cocktail effect
- construction of self-concept
- deja vu
- synesthesia
Some things never change.
omg, I REMEMBER these. ALL of them!
