I’m listening to these three to fall asleep tonight. Good grief, I love them so much; my mood gets all light purple and fluffy and shimmery when I hear it. What’s your preferred music to fall asleep to?

I’m so exhausted during the weeks that this happens little by little each day.
By Saturday, I want to pull my hair out.

I’m in a suuuper specific mood right now, and this video from a couple of years ago fits it.

I guess a lot of things I like are out of season right now, because all of the peaches, nectarines and plums looked horrible at the grocery store. I bought a huge Rome apple instead. It feels pretty German because it is cut into thick wedges on a wooden plate that was my Dad’s; it has a groove around the edge to catch crumbs. There is a huge knife on the plate, and honey haphazardly poured onto my Fagé in a bowl. There is apple juice all over the table, and coffee sloshed into a thick mug. And it’s all delicious.

Some people might call this Vermont over Germany, but no sir, it’s Alsfeld all the way.

The blue bowl with the egg in it is my favorite part. The black coffee looks great, too.
